Here are the supporting documents that I’m going to print with tomorrow, and getting bound into proper little books. They consist of early work and a supplementing story that I used to solidify my design aims and concept.

So this is fun. Two weeks to go and its all coming together. I’m gonna go ahead and guess there are going to be many sleepless nights, and thrilling times slaving over a hot computer.

So It’s been a while since I uploaded anything here. Had a half way pin up before out final crit when we get back from easter, in 3 weeks time!

A week after coming back to uni we’ve been lumped with a crit into our technical studies (of a building we haven’t actually designed yet)
Apparently I need to label drawings, do a few axonometric details of the connections and show the forces. Well….

This was our final crit for the semester, before breaking up for Christmas.
I’m just going to put the link up to this just incase in some freak accident I lose it on my computer.
Its a big file, incase anyone else if thinking of downloading it.
p.s. where is says “insert video”, thats for the 30 second moving image vid.

Ok… so this wasn’t actually for the design module, however, it is all about our site and very handy for it. It is a short film about our site, Westminster Tower Gardens, and it begins by zooming in, looking at all the transport links to our site, and to London in general. Then we come all the way down to the ground and through. We look up and go through a tourists camera so see what they are seeing. We then factually combed through our site and looked at all the elements, so that knowing these you could understand the whole.

To work into our concepts for our design work, we were asked to produce an image. This image would have to move, and loop every 30 seconds. The idea of this being that we learn Adobe After Effects, and that we get to grips with what we are trying to accomplish.
My moving images is based around the idea or domestic life. A very standard, white cardboard, project whatever you like onto it, domestic life. It had no personal, or case study setting, but it was being assimilated by a computer program. This program was meant to be analysing the life, and discerning what is average, and normal for people.
It is based heavily on a video by BranitVFX called “World Builder” [http://www.vimeo.com/3365942].
So on with the video…
